Confidentiality and privacy
Totally Lifestyle provides a professional and confidential service. Any photographs and testimonials will only be used with the consent of the client concerned. If you agree photographs will be taken before, after and during sessions. These will only be reproduced for publicity purposes with your permission. The only way in which you may be mentioned to others is in the context of my own services, and is depersonalised.
Disclaimer
Totally Lifestyle provides advice and encouragement in the decluttering and organising process. Totally Lifestyle can therefore accept no responsibility for actions of the client. It is ultimately the clients decision to let go of items and Totally Lifestyle accepts no responsibility for the actions the client takes on the basis of that advice be that, at the time of consultation, engagement in the organising or decluttering process, or at any subsequent or future date following any engagement or organiser consultation.
As Totally Lifestyle are not valuers of art or other items of special value or rarity, clients are advised to seek their own valuations of any items.
Totally Lifestyle handle items with care. In the case of accidental damage or loss, howsoever caused, the client acknowledges that Totally Lifestyle will not be held liable for losses or damage howsoever caused in their engagement.
Totally Lifestyle holds public liability insurance.
Limits of work
Please note that we do not provide a cleaning or large furniture removal service. Any large or heavy items that need removing may require a third party to help. We are happy to find and recommend removal companies, odd job men and cleaning services that can assist in the decluttering and organising process. If access to your home or premises is restricted or unsafe, we reserve the right to charge for lost time and expenses incurred.
Breaks
Decluttering can be particularly emotionally draining and we advise to have some breaks. We will help you declutter at your own pace although guiding you with our expertise. A 30 minute break is required for any sessions lasting five or six hours.
Payment terms
A £50 deposit is required on booking your time and date. This will be deducted from your final bill at the end of the session(s). Payment may be made by cash, bank transfers and PayPal.
Payment must be made at the end of the booking.
Interest at 9% per month will be charged on any balance due which remains unpaid 30 days after service.
Cancellation
Both Totally Lifestyle and the client have the right to cancel the contract due to unavoidable circumstances. If the client cancels within 48 hours of the agreed date and time, and the appointment is not re-scheduled within one month of such cancellation (one rescheduling), the client will be charged 75% of the amount due.
If the client cancels within 24 hours of the agreed date and time a £50 charge will be payable to cover for loss of earnings.
